NON-DAIRY CREAMER as SUBSTITUTE FOR MILK!

One morning as I was preparing my breakfast, I found out that I was out of MILK. I experimented putting a tablespoon of the available CREAMER (the one we put in our coffee) in my oatmeal and I discovered that it taste better than plain milk!

The flavored creamer is also delicious for hot cereal or oats. It makes it richer & gives more flavor than milk.

It can be used also in cream soups and sauces.

Moreover, many in our family are lactose intolerant, hence using non-dairy creamer is a huge help!

TIP: Non-dairy creamer is free of cholesterol and such a better alternative than the fattening COW's milk!

How To Avoid Hangover

When in party, clubs, reunions etc. where drinking alcoholic beverages( vodka, brandy, rhum, beer, wines) cannot be avoided, try to increase your WATER intake! Not softdrinks, iced tea or any flavored beverages as these will not help in body rehydration. WATER is the best body quencher and diluter of all the alcohol intoxication.

Before sleeping, drink again two (2) glasses of WATER! The next morning, you'll have more or less no hangover or a throbbing headache.

Tip: The main reason for HANGOVERS is BODY DEHYRATION, hence drinking WATER is the best solution!

The Other Side of CHOCOLATES!

1. Eat a piece of chocolate to cure bad breath from onions or garlic.

2. The higher the cocoa content (dark, bittersweet chocolate)than the sugar content, the better. It is high in antioxidants and not fattening as the usual high in sugar & milk chocolates! I highly recommend those with 75% cocoa content and up.

3. If you're taking an exam or will be doing a presentation and have no time to eat or cannot eat due to tension, munch 2-3 small pieces of dark chocolates to alleviate hunger pangs and boost your memory retention. (Wag lang pong gagawin lagi baka ma-ulcer, he he he!). It's still better not to skip meals. Gawin lang po ito kung madalian lang talaga!

4. Chocolate also is considered comfort food and can improve one's mood. Just don't overdo it!

Cheaper Remedy for HEAVY SWEATING!

If you’re allergy with roll-on or deodorant stick (including the price! he he he!), I found a good and cheaper alternative to prevent perspiration both for feet and underarm. It’s active ingredient is potash alum. I’ve got these descriptions from their site:

Milcu is like a baby powder formulated to prevent odor and perspiration. Unlike other deodorants, Milcu won't give you a sticky feeling when applied to underam and feet. It is mild, natural and fragrance free. Does not darken your skin or stain your clothes . It minimizes sweating and does not feel sticky.

TIP: Aside from being CHEAPER compared to any underarm antiperspirant or any foot powder available in the market, this product is 2-in-1 (Underarm and Foot Deodorant rolled into one).

Just to be clear, I’m not connected with the company. I’m just recommending a cheaper alternative, he he he!

TIPS ON PUMPING GAS (Good information!)

Have no idea how correct this is, but can't hurt reading. Just got this from a forwarded email.
I don't know what you guys are paying for gasoline.... but here in California we are also paying higher, up to $3.50 per gallon. But my line of work is in petroleum for about 31 years now, so here are some tricks to get more of
your money's worth for every gallon..

Here at the Kinder Morgan Pipeline where I work in San Jose , CA we deliver about 4 million gallons in a 24-hour period thru the pipeline. One day is diesel the next day is jet fuel, and gasoline, regular and premium grades.
We have 34-storage tanks here with a total capacity of 16,800,000 gallons.

1. Only buy or fill up your car or truck in the early morning when the ground temperature is still cold. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground the more dense the gasoline, when it gets warmer gasoline expands, so buying in the afternoon or in the evening...your gallon is not exactly a gallon. In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature of the gasoline, diesel and jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products plays an important role.

A 1-degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stations do not have temperature compensation at the pumps.

2. When you're filling up do not squeeze the trigger of the nozzle to a fast mode. If you look you will see that the trigger has three (3) stages: low, middle, and high. In slow mode you should be pumping on low speed, thereby
minimizing the vapors that are created while you are pumping. All hoses at the pump have a vapor return. If you are pumping on the fast rate, some of the liquid that goes to your tank becomes vapor. Those vapors are being sucked up and back into the underground storage tank so you're getting less worth for your money.

3.One of the most important tips is to fill up when your gas tank is HALF FULL or HALF EMPTY. The reason for this is, the more gas you have in your tank the less air occupying its empty space. Gasoline evaporates faster than you can imagine. Gasoline storage tanks have an internal floating roof. This roof serves as zero clearance between the gas and the atmosphere, so it minimizes the evaporation. Unlike service stations, here where I work, every truck that we load is temperature compensated so that every gallon is actually the exact amount.

4. Another reminder, if there is a gasoline truck pumping into the storage tanks when you stop to buy gas, DO NOT fill up--most likely the gasoline is being stirred up as the gas is being delivered, and you might pick up some
of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom.

Hope this will help you get the most value for your money.

Storing CHEESE!

I really love cheeses but I often wonder why when I put cheese into the refrigerator, the exposed part always hardened. I tried to cover it with aluminum foil, placed inside a tightly sealed container, put inside a microwaveable plastic, or put back into its original box but to no avail, it still darkened and toughened. Until I found out that it's excellent to put it in PLASTIC BAG (I use sandwich plastic bag). The color is still unchanged and the exposed part is still of the same quality!

DON'T plan LONG EVENING on a blind date or eyeball. A LUNCH DATE is PERFECT! If things don't work out, both of you have only wasted an hour!

How to Remove Chewing Gum on Children's Hair and Clothes

TRY FREEZING THE CHEWING GUM!

1. If it's on fabrics, place the whole garment in the freezer.

2. If it's on hair, furniture, walls or something else you can't directly freeze, use an ice cube to harden the gum. Once it has hardened, you should be able to peel the gum off or shatter it and then scrape it off with a spoon, dull knife or spatula.

Friendly Advice!

Be as friendly to the company's janitor or messenger as you are to the Manager or President!

Someone told me that almost all of us RESPECT and TREAT WELL people with higher position or those with higher status in life!

For those with the same status as we are, we treat them like colleagues or friends.

However, those people with lower position or status in life, we sometimes tend to be rude, impolite and discorteous. And this without pretentions, shows your real self and attitude!

Sabi nga, makikita mo ang ugali ng tao kung paano nya itrato yung taong mas mababa ang position o katayuan ang buhay sa kanya. Kasi dun daw lalabas ang tunay na ugali ng isang tao! he he he he!

CITRUS or ORANGE RIND!

1. It can be used to remove ADHESIVES from any surfaces easily. Just squeeze the rind and rub directly on the affected part.

2. It can be used also to removed dirt, grease and grime on any furniture or appliances especially white-colored items.

3. Very effective also if combined with liquid diswashing. It acts as grease-cutter!

Reason: The LIMONENE content of the Citrus or Orange Rind is the reason behind this. There is a commercially available synthetic alternative known as D-Limonene. It's available in any chemical stores. It's safe and really smells good!

Other Uses of COLA (Carbonated Softdrink)

1. Can be used to soak clothes with GREASE. You will be happy to see the next day that the grease is gone from your clothes or any fabrics.

2. Just pour your leftover cola drinks to your toilet bowl. Voila! your bowl is clean and white the next day!

Reason: The PHOSPHORIC ACID in this carbonated drink do the trick! Ouchhh! kaya siguro acidic ako he he he! Dami ko na yata nainom!
